Zeenat Khan was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and graduated from the Spier Arts Academy in 2015 after completing a 3-year Mosaic Apprenticeship. In 2016, she joined Spier Arts Academy as an Assistant Mosaic Lecturer, alongside Master Mosaicist, Sabina Giunitinelli, the current Master Mosaic Lecturer.

In 2017, Zeenat travelled to London as a professional Mosaic Artisan and workshop facilitator during the Nando’s Feast your Eyes Pop-up Exhibition located at Nando’s in Soho. That same year she was the Mosaic Artisan Team Leader, overseeing a team of two mosaic graduates and one 3rd year apprentice from the Spier Arts Academy, for the installation of Henk Serfontein’s Mosaic Servery at the Nando’s Soho Restaurant in London.

Zeenat Khan enjoys working on Contemporary Mosaic Art in her private capacity.
