Sandile Dlamini (1990 - )

Born in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, Sandile moved to Cape Town in 2009 and joined Spier Arts Academy as a Mosaic Apprentice in 2016. Sandile has consistently scored at the top of his class and was the recipient of the European Cultural Tour sponsored by Spier Arts Trust in 2018.

“What I like about mosaic is that it’s a unique skill of art to show beauty and tell stories that last for centuries.”

Sandile values that with mosaic, the things one perceives as garbage can be recycled and turned into something beautiful. His vision is to make a positive impact in people's lives and to be a pillar in the community.
