Peter Hardernberg (1981 -)

Peter grew up in Cape Town and joined Spier Arts Academy as a Mosaic Apprentice in 2015. Peter excelled practically and academically during his time at Spier Arts Academy and was one of two Mosaic Apprentices to receive a place on the sponsored European Cultural Tour to Italy and Spain in 2016.

“I have learned and experienced so much personally while doing mosaic and it has impacted my life in a very positive way. It’s a very interesting and exciting medium to work in and since I’ve discovered it, I can’t see myself doing anything else. “

Since graduating from Spier Arts Academy Peter started a mosaic company in collaboration with five other graduate mosaicist called Ikamva Mosaics. They hope to grow the company to its fullest potential and help pave the way for further mosaicist entrepreneurs.
